These professions are often included in the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) and Combined List of Eligible Skilled Occupations due to the growing need for accounting graduates and similar to other areas of accounting. As previously stated, when a PY graduate applies for a Skilled Independent (subclass 189) visa, they are able to get five (5) additional points on the Department of Immigration and Border Protection’s (DIBP) “points test.”
